Central London civil servants: lunchtime meeting Wednesday 12th… and more to follow!

This coming Wednesday 12th August has been declared a National Day of Solidarity with Vestas Workers. The core focus of the campaign to save jobs at Vestas should still be to maintain the pickets at the factory in Newport.

But all over the country on Wednesday, holding meetings or protests can involve more people and sustain the campaign. A number of activities have already been announced, we’ll compile a list and update it as the day gets nearer. We’ll post it up each day. We’ll update the details in the ‘Upcoming solidarity actions & meetings’ panel on the right hand side of the blog. They also appear on the Vestas protests map. To set the ball rolling…
