Vestas profiting in low-wage China

Interesting story by Keith Bradsher in the New York Times, more on the theme of the rapid expansion of renewables manufacturing in China. Vestas has opened a big factory there – and pays its assembly line workers $4,100 a year.

  1. I would not trust the quality of these machines given that the majority of Chinese products are shite. I have visions of blades flying off or shattering in use.
