As the world warms up Vestas shuts down (in Colorado)

The world is warming up – rapidly since the 1970s. The Met Office has released its figures today. See here.

Meantime, the market for wind turbine blades not being what Vestas had banked on, they have put their workforce in Colorado ‘on furlough’, ie, they’re not laid off, but they are not working or getting wages. 

Here’s more evidence that we can’t rely on market mechanisms to get the changes we need to stop runaway climate change.
