Workers’ Climate Action conference, Saturday 10 October

Workers’ Climate Action have been key actors in the Vestas campaign. They are holding their conference on Saturday 10 October (and on Sunday 11 October a discussion about the future shape of the campaign). Plesae come if you can and please let others know about it. Saturday-Sunday 10-11 October
LONDON 11am-5.30pm, Wilkins Old Refectory, University College London, Gower Street, Workers’ Climate Action conference (on the Saturday) and on Sunday (11-4pm, venue tbc) a discussion about future organisation. Main sessions on Saturday:
* Building a class-struggle environmental movement after the experience of Vestas
* Introduction to trade unions/their role in fighting climate change
* Debate on coal
* Agitating at workplaces, engaging with workers
* Debate on nationalisation vs cooperatives
* Structure and plans for WCA network
