Summer into autumn – the Vestas campaign is on this week and still needs your support

Isle of Wight councillors, including the Island’s sole Labour councillor Geoff Lumley, are due to meet Ed Miliband – in London – this week to talk about the stand-off between the workers and Vestas, and the campaign to get more green jobs to the Island, an unemployment hotspot.

George Hill (how many names does one person need?) has sent us some new pictures of the blade blockade at the Vestas factory, Newport, Isle of Wight, as summer creeps into autumn. Needless to say, we still need people to come and help support the blockade, which is costing Vestas and which still provides the best leverage we have against the company.
