Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

My name is Chris Ash I was one of the Vestas occupiers.

We have just been tipped off that tomorrow (Tuesday) at 12 noon the blade runner is coming down the river Medina to the Vestas factory in Newport from Southampton to pick up some of the remaining blades still inside the factory.

We are expecting a big police presence along with big support from other supporters and activists. We will do anything and everything to stop Vestas from shipping these blades or from getting anything into the factory if that’s their plan.

It would be great if you could either contact me or come down to the marine gate to see for yourselves.

  1. Noticed a few things a little strange:

    1) the main site to check traffic in the Solent is down.http://www.ais-live.co.uk/

    2) the second known site http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/ shows Southampton patrol heading towards the island quite fast but shows no extra ships

HOWEVER, a worldwide site i use is http://www.vesseltracker.com/en/Port/southampton/Map.html

This map seems a little more interesting, it shows a ship called mana moored at the cement mill site in west Cowes. I’ve been watching this for the past couple of days and a few days ago it moved out to the solent, anchored and then came back to the cement mill.

I could be wrong and it might not have anything to do with it but this is like i noticed a similar pattern with BBC OHIO.
