Protest at Prince’s visit gets message across

On Friday 17 July Prince Charles visited the Isle of Wight. We came along with banners, placards and leaflets.

The Vestas bosses had warned the police about our action, and they were out in force to search and bother us.

That didn’t prevent us holding up our banners and placards and leafleting and collecting hundreds of petition signatures as the Prince was paraded around.

We need messages of solidarity, donations to the campaign fund, and motions of support from union branches to continue flowing in. Contact savevestas@gmail.com.
