Tim Dalinian Jones reports: I’ve photographed and videoed a one-woman “Save Vestas” protest by Gerry Byrne on the 4th plinth in Trafalgar Square, between 05:00 and 06:00 this morning, as part of Antony Gormley’s One & Other art project. Later today I shall post a pix-&-vidz led report at Indymedias London & UK, and edited vidz at YouTube.
UPDATE: Pictures and more coverage of Gerry’s protest, all by Tim Dalinian Jones:

It is a complete disgrace that our government can bail the city & it’s bankers out to the tune of £600 billion and they can’t find a few million to help this company through difficult times.
Time to stop talking about wind farms at the Gasworks (parliament) & it is time tostreamline the planning process so companies like vestas can build the wind turbines we need to ensure we rely less on fossil fuels and more on renewables and other greener forms of energy.
The PM Gordon Brown should step in and pledge funding for the future of this much needed company. Time to wake up new Labour or you’ll be staring into the abyss and will get battered at the ballot box by voters…
